1. About Capylock

Capylock is a screen-time and focus app. It helps you reduce distracting phone use by blocking or limiting selected apps, scheduling focus blocks, running focus sessions, and tracking your usage, with a friendly capybara companion to keep you motivated.

Capylock works with Apple's Screen Time technology (the Family Controls, Managed Settings, and Device Activity frameworks). App selection, blocking, and usage measurement are performed on your device by Apple's system APIs. Capylock never sees the identities of the apps you choose — Apple keeps that information private to your device.

2. Subscription & Billing

Capylock offers Capylock Pro as an auto-renewing subscription (offered on a monthly and/or yearly basis, and may include a free trial). Capylock Pro unlocks the app's premium features.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription, and turn off auto-renew, in your Apple Account settings after purchase.
• Prices may vary by region and are shown in the app before purchase. Promotional or discounted pricing, where offered, applies only as described at the time of the offer.

There are no ads. All purchases, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store's policies. We do not process payments or store payment information.

3. Data & Privacy

Capylock is designed to be private. We do not collect, sell, or transmit your personal data to our own servers.

• Your app selections, focus plans, limits, and progress are stored locally on your device.
• This data may sync across your own devices through your private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. It remains in your iCloud and is not accessible to us.
• Screen Time data is processed on-device by Apple's frameworks and is managed by Apple under their privacy protections.
• Subscription status is provided through Apple and our payment infrastructure provider solely to verify entitlements.

If you delete the app, locally stored data is removed. iCloud-synced data follows Apple's iCloud handling. We recommend reviewing important settings before deleting the app.
